ENTSO-E and ENTSOG, with the involvement of ENNOH, have submitted the Interlinked Modelling Report to the European Commission. The report guides coordinated cross-sector infrastructure planning, and outlines the interactions between the electricity, gas and hydrogen sectors within the respective Ten-Year Network Development Plans (TYNDPs).

The report also outlines how cross-sector planning will be progressively embedded in the TYNDPs. A key milestone is a pilot study on cross-sector system needs assessment, representing the next concrete step towards greater alignment across electricity, gas and hydrogen planning processes.

The submission follows the ACER Opinion of 28 January 2026, that acknowledges the progress made since the launch of joint scenario development.

Stakeholder engagement remains central to the process and will continue throughout the implementation of the roadmap and the development of the pilot study.
