Grid disturbance profile specification v1.0 is now published. The grid disturbance profile is a profile to exchange a list of already occurred grid disturbances, faults, outages and interruptions. A grid disturbance is defined as “Automatic, unintended, or manual undeferrable switching of breakers as a result of faults in the power grid”.

The grid disturbances are input data that describe incidents in the power grid. This input data is used for statistical purposes and for Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) pursuant to CSAM Article 44.
