ENTSO-E is organising a stakeholders workshop on the future of the European Resource Adequacy Assessment (ERAA) on 4 June 2025.

This event aims at gathering inputs and triggering discussion in the context of the formal ERAA methodology amendment process that has been initiated by the European Commission and ACER. ENTSO-E works to address the challenges of an evolving energy system with more renewables and increased electrification.

Therefore, this workshop will bring together a wide selection of expertise through representatives from the European Commission, ACER, TSOs, international and global organisations, academia and industry to exchange practical examples, showcase initiatives, and discuss what is needed to build a secure, future-ready adequacy assessment.

  • Presentation on the report for streamlining capacity mechanisms procedures– European Commission
