Each year the European association of transmission system operators carries out a stakeholder survey. The 2015 results show an important progress (+5% satisfaction). ENTSO-E announces new actions in 2016 to increase stakeholder engagement and transparency.
Among these is the already announced creation of an independent Advisory Council that will give recommendations to the ENTSO-E Assembly and Board. The Council will represent the key stakeholders of the associations from EU institutions and regulators to distribution system operators, generators, renewables, consumers, traders, NGOs and academia.
"On some issues like distributed flexibility we are even ready to do co-creation, involving European DSOs associations to the drafting of a possible new network code", commented Bente Hagem, ENTSO-E Chair of the Board.
Comments in the 2015 survey indicate that the association is perceived as open, serving society's interest more than in the past. "These results are encouraging and showing we are on the right track", says Konstantin Staschus ENTSO-E Secretary-General.
