​ENTSO-E is holding a 2nd Public Stakeholder Consultation workshop on Adequacy Methodology at ENTSO-E’s premises in Brussels on 17 June 2014 from 10:00-16:00.

The workshop will focus on the results of the inaugural Consultation Workshop held on 16 April 2014, where stakeholders expressed their concerns and expectations with regards to the new adequacy methodology.

As part of the workshop, an initial assessment of the stakeholder views will be presented, focusing on the five main points identified as high priority for the new adequacy methodology:

  • Market not rewarding flexibility
  • Harmonisation of the methodology
  • Data transparency
  • Cross-border exchanges, and
  • Deterministic vs probabilistic approach

The involvement of stakeholders in this process is crucial for the development of the new methodology and following this workshop, a detailed methodology proposal document will be published, concurrent to the launch of a two-month online consultation period.

​​Interested stakeholders are kindly requested to register via email, by indicating their full name, contact details and their organisation, along with their topic preference for the afternoon interactive group session, choosing either ‘Outlook reports’ or ‘SO&AF reports’ to Ms Thanh-Thanh Le Thi no later than 10 June 2014.
